LED Classes are guided sequences that focus on opening and strengthening different areas throughout the week through surya namaskar, standing asanas, backbends, balancing, pranayam and more. Throughout the month, students can feel the effects of a consistent and progressive practice. LED classes have a playful spirit and high energy generated by the collective group environment. ALL level practitioners are welcome from those who are trying yoga for the first time, to advanced practitioners. The teacher will always provide variations to accommodate all levels and abilities. Great for practitioners to engage virtually and start their practice with guidance and direction.
Mysore Style was founded by Swatvarama, the author of the classic text, Hatha Yoga Pradipika -- with the belief that everyone can do yoga, according to their abilities and limitations. This unique class style builds consistency and self-reliance in a student’s practice. Students are taught a customized sequence, based on the Indea Yoga sequences, and will repeat this every session at their own pace. Repeating sequences deepens the impact of the practice in your body, mind, and breath. The sequence will be modified over time as students progress and become comfortable with their particular set of asanas. ALL level practitioners are welcome; experience your practice under the nurturing environment and guidance of a teacher. The teacher monitors your practice, corrects your alignment, and provides a direction for growth. This is also suitable for students wanting to work on specific areas like strength, balance, or yoga therapy.
Pranayam (prana | yama) means expansion of your breath and vital life force. Your breath is the very essence of your life, the more balanced and calm it is, the more at ease you are. Furthermore, increasing the efficiency of your lungs greatly benefits your overall health. Pranayam teaches you how to build awareness of your breath and use it to increase your concentration, energy and health. We will use different techniques, mudras, and kriyas to help you proceed through your day with energy, clarity, and focus.This course is catered for beginners, it will be a guided session that begins with light movement (ex: surya namaskar), followed by a dive inwards.
Pre and post natal is meant to support moms during their journey from preconception preparation to postpartum recovery. A consistent practice of yoga helps to create a mentally and physically strong journey for moms. Women in all trimesters and of all levels can join. Sessions will address strength, movement, pain-relief, and labor day management techniques. Furthermore, the teacher is here as a pillar of support during your journey and will check-in with you bi-weekly or weekly as changes occur rapidly as the baby develops.
